The options are simple.
1) Wait
2) Get score higher
3) Give up and do something else.
With a score of 478, I'd likely go for #1, since the scores have been lower than that in the past few months. If they stayed higher than 478, but below 600, I'd try to get my score higher. If they stayed above 600, I'd try to get LMIA or PNP.
Or, there's option #3. My score is pretty low at the moment (low education scores), and I'm expecting an LMIA so I would stick it out if my spouse hadn't gotten an ITA.
If my score was low, and I couldn't improve it significantly, I'd give up.
