CRS 478. What do I do now? What options are left?

I wrote the IELTS a second time and wasted a bunch of time and money getting required docs etc. like others. I am not able to understand why the score went up to 755.

Good thing I waited till the 9th draw. Now, what is the next logical step for me to take? I haven't done my medicals or PCC.

What do I do now? Should I wait till the ITA and then apply for the documents and pay the fee etc or be optimistic and get those documents right away?
Can I apply for PNP without admission into the express pool via express entry?

Okbabgaram dis us just a matter of time..next draw is coming soon with a cutoff around 450-470...trust m u r getting ITA soon...instead of getting upset get urself up to date with documents.. If u feel like dis den think abt ppl below 400..

statistically speaking they can't keep the cutoff that high for too many draws in a row.

We have enough draws to predict a fall in cutoff scores. It starts high, gradually drops, then a gap to accumulate applications with the 600 points of LMIA and PNP, then drop again.

They can't ONLY invite ppl with LMIA and PNP, otherwise they should've been upfront about it and spare thousands of people the emotional distress and material losses on ECA and repeated language exams.

The next draw will be soon, with the cutoff below 755. My $0.02.

Guys cic has taught all of us a brilliant lesson that please stop predicting!! Why you are stubborn? Now again you think they will do one more draw? How can you say? May be there will be 1 draw this month, you are looking for your favour only as they will issue 2 draws, there might be 15 to 25 so if they are looking for 15 to 20 then thats it and wait for june.

I am at 399 but i do not care about these draws because i have some alternatives. I can understand some people do not have any alternative, but have patiencez

Exactly! That's my point. If I got less than 400, I would not have any problems. I would be mentally prepared about the fact that I might not get ITA. Infact, even the Come to Canada tool did not give a positive result for me. That was why I gave the IELTS exam a second time and got my score up to 478. Previously it was less than 400 (not sure).

The thing is in 2 draws I would have gotten through earlier. The 469 draw and 453 draw. Now, I don't know what will happen next. Will the scores keep dropping till 500 and then stop or again climb upto 700 odd score? In that case the medicals and PCC would go to waste.

But nobody here answered my question. Is PNP tied to Express Entry? Do I have a chance via the PNP route if I don't get through Express Entry? What else can I do apart from getting a job to increase my points to around 700+. Any other option left for me?

I'm at 535, hoping it will get there eventually. Annoying thing for me is if I'd had been faster getting my stuff together (my WES) I'd have gotten ITA in April. Hopefully there will be not be another long gap where they wait for people with high points to get in the queue. If there's another draw Friday they will have to drop the points significantly.

As people have already commented the 755 points level refers to people in a very specific bracket, people with LMIA's or PNP but with an otherwise very low general score. Once they clear out the LMIA/PNP people the points will have to drop significantly below the 600 mark. Thats my hope anyway. We'll see what happens next Friday.

Hello guys. I read your comments and I don't think you should be worried if your scored is more than 430-450.

The score of the latest draw is up to 755 (155 for the applicant and 600 for the provincial nominee), but I don't think there will be so many people who is nominated by any province. So I think 1 or 2 draws later the points will be back the 450s and it will keep going down.

By the way, I am a immigration agent in China and my client scored 470. I submitted her application at March and she got the ITA very soon. She was very lucky that she does not have to suffer this from the new draw.

Scores may stay above 600 i they decided to draw only once in a month. I think from previous statistics, in a month there are enough numbers building up in the pool with scores above 600
If there are bi weekly draws then definitely score will come down but once a month will be difficult.
