Crossing into canada from US after wedding

It is generally not recommended to bring pets, as that is a strong indicator of moving to Canada when she is only allowed to visit at this point. Best case scenario, she is allowed in with no issue. Worst case, she is refused entry and issued a one year Exclusion Order.

Does she have a friend that can take the animal for now?
That is what I thought. A family member was suppposed to watch her until DIL got her PR but has changed her mind. She is looking for someone else. She is already having to leave two other pets. :(

They texted "easy peasy"!!
They told the border security she was applying for pr-they had paid the fee & had paperwork. He just said "have a good trip!" (They have a 7 hour drive up to home here)
Lots of prayers went into that crossing!
Thanks for all the great advice. (They didn't bring her bunny)

Glad it went so well for you!
I know a ton of people who've been in this process and crossed regularly with animals and have never had an issue.
