Hi. Can somebody help me. my friend is out of status now and got refused his work permit under restoration. He received his refused work permit october 27, he will leave canada november 29, 2015. Can he go cross the USA by plane even though, he has a tourist visa? Is there any possible circumstances may be questioned him or deported back to original country.? Please feel free to write your inputs. Thanks for answering

There's always some chance he may be questioned and refused entry.

If questioned, he'll need to demonstrate that he is a genuine tourist to the US.

If he is flying to the US, he'll need to ensure he has a return ticket. If he tries to fly to the US on a way one ticket, the airline will probably refuse him boarding.

he has a returned ticket ticket, but the thing is he is beyond status. do you think he will be allowed to entry?

No one can tell you that. That's up to US immigration.
