Criminality and security on GCMS notes?

Hallo guys . Yesterday I received my GCMS notes and it says that I pass criminality , eligibility , and medical. Other request: not started . It doesn't say anything about security though. And my question is this : security and criminality is not the same? And if it isn't can someone explain the difference between of those two ?

Criminality refers to your crime history, if you committed offenses that make you in eligible.

Security: if you are part of the international database of people with terrorist links or pose threats to national security.

There are a couple of old threads on this. One is on the process, the other is on the apparent longer processing time for applicants coming from certain countries.

I am May 2014 applicants and recieved my AOR in July. I would like to know when should I apply for GCMS?

My Second question is do I need to send GCMS by Post or by email?

you should ask for your GCMS notes trough email from <iam toby> site. but you dont have to do that because it is too soon for you. unless if you have a good reason and you need to check the status of your application. i think your application goes smouth at this point.

Hi can you share your timeline.

hi iam a sertember applicant me and my common-law partner. so here is my timeline:
semtember 30:application received
november 17: AOR received
april 8: cic start my appication
april 15: request for medical and RPRF
april 25:medical complete and RPRF paid
may 8: cic received my medical
july 4: request for additional paper regarding my common-law partner relationchip
july 20: paper sent
Ater that i ask for GCMS notes and i received yesterday that it says that i pass medical,eligibility,criminality. and other request :not started
and now iam wait again for my PPR again . i think this trip it doesnt have an end.

Apply for GCMS only if your application is taking longer than expected, or you reasonably believe that it has run into problems. Otherwise, don't micro-manage your case.
