Hi all,

I just filled out the express entry profile. To my suprise, nowhere did they ask if you are charged, convicted. I am just asking because I am worried if I am not entering information or if i am missing this question somewhere? Because every form i have filled before in terms of visa, study permit etc. they have asked this question. Another question, do i need to get RCMP certificate because i am currently a resident of canada for my CEC application. Thanks

If you are a Permanent Resident then why you need to apply for CEC? I believe you are a Temporary Resident and you would be applying for CEC. Though RCMP is not mandatory but just in case do it, you never know whether they would ask for it or not.

The profile is NOT the PR application. You only complete the application later, if you receive an ITA. You will be asked this on the PR application.

Regardless of where you reside, the RCMP certificate is not required up front. Some people do get asked for it later, but most never need it.
