Criminal Check (Canadian)

Hi! Did I understand correctly that if I am planning to apply for PR I should run criminal record check (Canadian, I already done my from another country) ASAP?

What is not clear for me - should I need ref # for this criminal check or not? If yes - when I will get it - after creating profile or after getting into the pool?

Any country that you lived for more than 6 months after 18 years old you need a police certificate. If you currently in Canada, you don’t have to.
