International student here. I was in Canada from 2011 to 2014. At that time, i had an account with TD.I am planning to go there for post-grad again. My queries are as follows.

1.Since i had a credit card and credit history, will there be any advantage if i reactivate/open an account with TD?
2. As international students are under TRV, is my credit history still valid? It's been 7 years.
3.As i understand, credit score is not tied to a bank. In case the credit history is still valid, For international students, is there any other recommended banks?

1. I dont understand what advantage you are referring to. Credit scores are runned by Equifax and Transunion… not TD
2. They will still be valid if your lender did not close due to inactivity. But credit report will still be issued
3. You can reopen your TD or open anyother bank. No specific recommendation
