credit card with Password

Hi all,

regarding the payment option with Credit card.

i have a credit card, but when i use it in malls for payment, it requies a PIN to process the payment.

now in the payment form for CIC, it requires all the details.....
but what about the payment PIN?

any idea on this? should i send the password information along with the card nos. and other details?

Don't worry. This has now been mandated by RBI for all credit cards in India which are supposed to be chip based now. However, for online trnsactions with CIC or WES, PIN or OTP is not required so just the card number, expiry date, CVV, name on card along wiith signature of the cardholder is enough.
No need to share any PIN/password etc.

Hi All

No need to share PIN, passwords used in verified by Visa or other merchants. The card number, CVV number, expiry date and Name is more than enough to make a credit payment.

Hmm , First time seen Credit Card with PIN... It's looks Debit Card or Pre-paid Card (called Prepaid Credit Card)... My personal advise go for "Demand Draft / (OR) Bank Draft" in this case to be safe and avoid any issue of unauthorized payment for CIC..

Credit cards with pin have been around for years now. It is safe and simple as some of the posters already explained. Welcome to the 21st century.

I never seen in USA.. also my credit card in Europe also don't have any PIN.. but safe side CIC also accept Bank Draft also called Demand Draft.

you don't have to give your PIN. The information like CC Number, Name, Expiry date are enough for them to charge your credit card. I personally would prefer giving credit card as you know instantaneously when they charged your card.
