Hi everyone, i came to canada sep 2013 as PR holder from asian country, im trying to build up my credit now and applied PC credit card and approved it and after few months later(march 2014), i applied a another card from different credit company and they also approved and sent me a card with $500 limit but when i was trying to activate the ard then they told me that card sent by mistaken and just destroy it, i asked to send me refusel letter but they said they cant, also in my credit file its showing that i used that card for 1 month and not used as well its saying account closed by consumer request, so my quesion is still i have that card with me but my credit score came down because of it, so can i take any legal action or what is the best advise for me, thanks pls help me,

I suggest you monitor and wait until your credit score is in good standing. You should apply your next credit card only if you have a good credit score, otherwise it will probably hurt your score.

Your credit score can actually go down if you apply for multiple cards because it looks like you are in need of money.

Yes, there is a legal way for everything and I think it could be difficult for you to do that since you are not from there and lawyers will be costly. So, forget it and enjoy your stay,

No, you can't take legal action.
Best you can do is contact the credit bureaus (TransUnion and Equifax) and file a dispute with them.
