Credential Evaluation - One Courier for 2 applicants

Hi All,

There is one question : Me and my wife both are getting our credential evaluated through WES.
We both have registered separately and paid fees separately to wes.org.

Is it possible that we can send our Transcripts together in a single Courier Packet ?
This Main packet will have 2 different packets of our transcripts.

yes you can send 2 transcripts in 1 package. mention the WES ID # on each transcript. I recommend you to follow up with them once the documents are delivered.

One clarification here :

Me and my Wife has studied in same university. I have collected the sealed envelope of Transcripts from the University and will be sending these transcripts along with the required photocopies of degrees/certificates.

Dear Nitin,

WES ask to write the reference number with your docs. Your college has given you a sealed envelop and also one for your wife. You can now put both in one envelop and send to WES. Its just a way of sending.

But i've one question. Transcripts are generally sent by college directly. All this sealed envelop hassle is with certified photocopies. Why are you sending both?

Not advisable to send all together in 1 package for the fear of getting mixed up.

Not advisable by whom? And why is WES supposed to be so unprofessional to mix everything up? You're being too harsh on poor WES...they are not that bad actually

nitinkalra2000, of course you can opt for the delivery as a single shipment. Just put yours and your wife's papers in separate envelopes with REF numbers on them as per WES requirements. Then put all of them in another envelope and send it to WES. I did the same, its' alright.

Just to answer amit.synergy : You have option either you can ask Your college/University to send the transcripts directly to WES or you can collect the sealed envelope yourself. This option is there on WES website also.

If in case you ask University to send the transcripts on your behalf, they charge exorbitant courier charge which in my case they asked is 100$ and also you can't expect they are going to do it on priority. Even For giving me the Transcripts in Sealed Envelope, they took around 40 days.

One more question here :
How much time do they take for sending the Evaluation Result. If we opt for free delivery or Express delivery for which they charge 85$ ?

They will take around 2-3 weeks and you must opt for fast delivery option as the normal delivery will not even have a tracking number.

For Express delivery WES uses reputed international courriers. Mine, for example, was delivered by UPS for in 3 business days.

If you opt for snail mail only God knows how much time will it take your ECA to reach. You may be lucky or may be not. Game of chance.

Dear bringiton, thanks for sharing the link. Still I think that WES is efficient in dealing with high volumes of applications and relatively small amount of complaints proofs it. But I may be biased by my own positive experience, of course. Anyway, good luck to you with your application!

Why dont you google out regarding WES complaints. There is no small amount of complaints. Infacts there are even consumer forum blogs on this..

Secondly, I didnt had problem with WES. My evaluation got completed in 2 days and got the ECA on my the address the 5th day. My rest of the freinds had so much problems with WES that they opted for ICAS instead.
