Creating express entry profile

Is it possible to create an express entry profile from India now? Or have they blocked it as no FSW draws are happening now? One of my friends tried to create a profile but he was not able to create it as he was not a able to see an option to 'create profile'.

Anyone can create an EE profile as long as you have IELTs and ECAs. Maybe he was doing something wrong.

Thanks for the reply! I was worried they might have blocked it altogether since FSW draws haven't happened for a while. So, we can create a profile and wait for the draws to resume, right?

Yes, you can create a profile if you are elgible. Want 470+ CRS score.

I was getting 478 on the CRS calculator when I tried with 7-7-7-8 for IELTS (I am yet to take the test, though).

That is a great score. You must have a PhD since your IELTs are low and even then it doesn’t come to 478. Are you calculating it right?

I have a Masters in Pharmacy with 3 yrs of experience. CRS was 472, not 478. These were options I chose for IELTS: S-7, L-8, R-8, W-7

You won't be able to create your profile until you have taken the test and have your results. If you want to apply, make that a priority.

Yes, I am aware of that . I just wanted to make sure if we can still create EE profiles from outside CA since FSW is in a standstill at the moment.

I as a matter of fact is yet to begin the process and I am at the moment gathering more info before starting the whole process. My classmates have all got masters equivalency.
