So after taking the IELTS test three times, I realize often it's a hit or miss situation. But with the increasingly available option of the computer-based test, preparing for the test should become a lot easier, as you can come very close to the actual testing experience with a computer-based practice test.
So I've been thinking of creating a test simulator that imitates the official computer-based exam. Full practice exams, with timers and automatic score marking. I work as a web developer, so building this shouldn't be difficult from a technical standpoint. In fact, I even thought I'd re-create the speaking test by using a computer bot that simulates having a conversation with a tester. Obviously, it won't be perfect, but it would make practicing for the speaking part easier.
Would anybody be interested in something like this? It's still only an idea I have, and I don't want to commit to something without knowing there's somebody out there who wants it. Please let me know what you think!
