CRC for Pakistani Applicants

hi all,

is CRC of your kids under 18 required for Pakistani applicants or birth certificate is enough?

CRC is in Urdu so translation will also be required.

You need both [CRC and BC].

Also you will be needing 2 FRCs [Family Registration Certificate] by birth & by marriage. You will get this from Nadra, the same day you apply.

Once you get them all [CRC+BC+FRC] go to Notary Service, get them translated [True Translation] and get them notarized.

What is the difference between FRC by birth and FRC by marriage?

are these mandatory? its not mentioned in document checklist...

also for attestation the instructions in guide says the following:

"Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
• the English or French translation; and
• an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
• a certified copy of the original document."

is affidavit really required? or the translated document can be signed/stamped by notary public? - this is how is it usually done in Pakistan

for certified true copy of original - here in Pakistan they put another stamp on the document saying "true copy". would that be enough?

Well FRC's are semi-optional. it's better you provide them. It's mention in document list.

Coz if something they need to investigate further about you and they don't have it they put your application in back log and give it to people to investigate and your application will get more time to be evaluated.

It's all about: if we give them everything they want, they will believe we are interested in applying.

Coz if something they need to investigate further about you and they don't have it they put your application in back log and give it to people to investigate and your application will get more time to be evaluated.

When you will give them for translation, they will have everything and will do by themselves.

Plus you don't need an affidavit. True Translation itself is a proof.

'true copy' stamp is only for photocopy of translation, not the original true translation.
