Hi guys,

I was laid off in this part-time job recently due to the local govement restriction. I have more than 120 insurable hours in the last 12 months to be qualified for EI and also earned more than $5000 CAD for the new CRB. Now, I have a dilemma of which benefit I should apply for. I really doubt about as a foreign student can apply for EI and I haven't heard of any international students to do so. Anybody is in the same situation? Also, are there any implications if I apply for either EI or CRB for my future application for PGWP?

Thank you for your advice.

Approximately how many insurable hours do you have and in what province. What is the expiry date of your study permit?
