I am planning to land in April last week. Want to understand how is the day care/creche facility out there in Toronto. Have heard that there is normally a long waiting period to enroll for the same?
What are normally the charges and is it solely borne by parents or is there any govt plan which covers this?

There can be long waits - but the bigger problem is that it's quite expensive.

Parents have to cover these costs. I believe the average is around $1,700 per month per child.
