I received my COPR in the mail today.
It is a very bittersweet day for me as yesterday my sweet Mother passed away.
Just trying to process it all.

Mine doesn't show that either and then to my surprise I received my COPR in the mail. They must not update all the time.

this doesn't mean anything. not all ECAS show this language. when i got my DM, DM essentially meant the COPR was mailed out. there was no other language used or notification sent. just DM, that's it.

the copr is in a brown envelope and it will arrive. it's sent through regular mail and regular mail can be slow.

Landing was really easy and fast as the borders are empty right now! We just crossed the borders at Peace Bridge - Buffalo turned the car and got back to Canada. The officer was very smiley he asked us if we were landing today. He told us to park and get into the stone building. The lady there wasn't smiley but the process was really fast it only took 10 min. She just asked me to confirm that everything that was written on my COPR was correct and to put my initials and sign it. And then she told me 'Congratulations you are a Canadian Permanent Resident you can now go with this paper get OHIP and your SIN number. You can work, go and come back to Canada as many times as you need to, and have OHIP but you cannot vote or go to the military'. hahah that was the sad part ahahaha. She was talking way to fast to be honest couldn't get everything she was saying but it was fast and super easy. I just had to take my passport and COPR.
So for the moment the COPR is stapled and stamped on to my passport. The PR card will be mailed to me in the next 4-6 weeks.

Wow, sounds pretty easy. I am going to land in April, hopefully that first Saturday. I will land at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing, by Niagara Falls. I need to find out about the B4 form, I will have personal belongings to follow. I will be shipping them from California. I guess I can ask the border agent about it. I have my inventory list of items so I will bring that.

I am hoping someone can help me out here. I received an email from CIC saying:

We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within six (6) months as this could delay your application.

Should I redo my police clearance? It's been almost 6 months since my FBI clearance was issued.

I'm happy and confused...(seems to be a constant state at the moment..). I'm Dutch, my husband is Canadian and I've applied for PR - family class - outland. I currently reside in the Netherlands, my husband in Canada. We submitted 10 February, we received AOR on 15 March and SA today (21 March). But while we were expecting our application would be sent to Vienna for further processing, they've instead sent it to CPC-Ottawa.

Did anybody experience the same? I wonder if this is working in our favour.. as this route just might take much longer than Vienna. Or... ? I'm wondering if it might have to do with the fact that I lived in Canada before (for one year, 2008) on a student permit and therefore already have a UCI and Canadian uni certificates etc. But that's all I can think of...

Can anyone shine a light on this? Thanks!!

Hi Marli,

The same think happened to me. My application was supposed to be sent in ROME but it was processed in Ottawa, with the difference though that I was here as a visitor during the whole processing time. CPC - Ottawa it's pretty fast, I just got landed in only 6 months & 1 week I know that CPC-Ottawa process Americans applicants as well as people currently living in Canada... not sure why they sent yours here but Ottawa is pretty fast so stay positive Good luck
