Oh one quick question:

Does ANYONE have an idea about why some people are being asked for new photos and some people aren't??

James!!! I am hoping that yours will come soon! Your advice helped me a lot with my anxiety!!! And to answer your question, I think they changed the specifications of the photos that’s why... but I’m not sure why others don’t get any requests for new pics....hmm

just checked ecas this morning and DM!!!!!!!! Smiley at the same time I just got the GCMS notes that we ordered about a month ago and was in the process of emailing Ottawa because I noticed that the UCI number for my wife was different than my number is that normal? To clarify the uci number i use to check the status of the application ends in 23 but in the GCMS notes anytime it referenced my wife the UCI number was 21

UCI are unique per person (hence the name unique client identifier).

Regular mail I believe, as for time I'd say 2 weeks. When mail goes over the border it's kind of a crapshoot on how long it will take.

I wanted to update Ottawa, too, I got a DM today! Feb. 15th. I am excited, but I keep worrying it's bad news! They didn't ask for new photos. I'll wait and see what comes in the mail, but I am mostly sure it's going to be my COPR.

They didn't ask for new photo's either here...but I've read other threads where they weren't asked either.

Yup, although it could take a little longer...definitely allow two weeks...

Total 10 business days or calendar days? I am worrying now, because my husband is from california too and he still hasn’t received his copr...ugh. I hate this feeling of anticipation!
