Hi Rugrat - Between "Decision Made" appearing under Permanent Residence Application Status and receiving COPR, did you receive any other communication? Did you get another line in ECAS saying something like "A decision has been made"??

Guidance on these questions seems to be all over the place so I'm wondering if it is Case Officer-specific (and not even VO-specific).

Thanks! I received DM on February 5 so I'm just wondering what to expect. I live in Montreal so maybe I'll receive COPR this week??

I never received any other communication and I don't think most people do. Nor did I ever see another line in ECAS. And I'd say next week sounds about right for arrival in the mail...

First - CONGRATS!!!!

It took 10 days for my COPR to show up after DM - I was in California at the time.

Thank you so very much!!!! It has been along time coming!!!!!!!:) You were in California? Really? Which part? Hubby is from California as well! ! So you got the COPR when you were in California?:)

Received my COPR today (Feb 8th) after receiving DM on Feb 5th. Three calendar days/one business day. Pretty fast. I live in Montreal.

Where in California is your hubby from CharisseyB? I am from Redding, California. I grew up in Long Beach, but then moved to Redding later in life. There are quite a bit of us cool Californians here on the forum. :D LOL

That’s really cool!!!:) He’s from Rialto, California! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I thought that after decision made things would get easier. It has been 3 weeks and we have not heard or received anything. Waiting is so stressful. I am so frustrated.

I can't help but feel like if either one of us gets a DM the other one will not be far behind. We're right around the same timeline, I think.

James, I got Decision Made in Ecas this morning! It was not there last night when I checked. Hopefully this means you aren't too far behind!

My partner just came from the USA to Canada, but her mailing address is still her parent's place in the USA which means COPR is going to be mailed there, and we'll have to get it express shipped back to us. We were thinking of submitting an address change but I hear it can take weeks, and she only arrived in Canada a few days ago, so I don't think submitting a change would've helped at all anyways.

We'll likely be making an appointment to land at an office here in Canada once we get COPR in our hands (assuming of course the DM in Ecas is a "good" decision!)

Wooo!! That's awesome, man! I'm happy for you both! Hopefully this means good things for me too, but I'll just see what comes. :D Also, I mean, unless you were requested an interview I think it's usually good news so I'd be shocked if it wasn't a nice COPR waiting for your wife. :)

Oh one quick question:

Does ANYONE have an idea about why some people are being asked for new photos and some people aren't??

Good question. The only thing we were asked for was more proof of relationship in early December. No new pictures, passport request, or any other new documents were asked of us before we saw "Decision Made" today.

So from 3rd line eCas 'we started processing on...' and 'med result received' to DM is an average of what, 3 mo for Ottawa?

Guys please have faith! After 3 months of waiting for news, WE GOT DECISION MADE!!!!!! What else do they ask after this? Will they ask for passport photos again? Cause they haven’t send anything on my husband’s email? I am confused?!

Congrats! There is nothing more to send, just wait for the COPR and then land. Welcome to Canada. 8)

Yeah! That’s pretty cool....I wish we could actually meet sometime soon, this forum has created a closeness that cannot be explained!:) Where in Canada are you going to be landing?!

And by the way, i don’t know if I asked it already, but can you confirm how long it took for you to get copr?
