Thanks.

I saw other FSW program at CPP-Ottawa averge passport turn around time its just under 7 days. :o

Well, if you sent your passport to them it means you need a visa. Most people don't need one. So, the applicants that need visa can expect some more time to have their passports returned (I think).

I recently got an email from CIC requesting more evidence of cohabitation for my me and my partner:

"Please provide additional documents showing that you continuously cohabited with your sponsor for at least one year prior to 2013/11. Please be sure to provide us with the oldest possible documentation showing your cohabitation, and provide a selection of documents which show that you continued to cohabit up to now (or to when you stopped cohabiting, if applicable). To show continuity, these documents should be dated and they can be anything showing that you shared an address including cards, letters, bills, identity documents showing same address, joint /rental agreements/home ownership, etc."

The odd thing is that we didn't start cohabitation until August 2013 and it is requesting 'at least one year prior to 2013/11'. I can supply evidence from August 2013 to the present date. Does anyone else have similar experience or any advice / suggestions?

Thanks!

They have to base your application on cohabitation for one year up to the date of your application. I think that would be the date that is indicated beside the signatures on your application. Where are they getting this 2013/11 date? Is that when you filled in the forms?

Our file went to "Decision Made" March 30. The CoPR was dated April 1, the cover letter was dated April 2, we were away all of this week. It was postage metered with an April 7 date and it was waiting in our mailbox in Gatineau when we got back home tonight, the evening of April 10. We will be going to the border Saturday night for the "landing" procedure.
