Yeah I agree I think thats just the call centre agents looking at the published timelines, I don't believe they can tell you much once its with the visa office.

I just read that someone on the July 2014 OUTLAND thread who was being processed in Ottawa got a DM today. I am not sure they are on the spreadsheet. Small joy.

Good god. I hope not. We are roughly on the same timeline. I am hoping he was just using the quoted estimate time published on the website for the Ottawa office. I am hoping Ottawa took 3 months off to work on another stream of apps and will return to ours April 1st. Wishful thinking. I just can't believe they can't be at a standstill any longer.

Hope you guys are right...ive just really lost hope...especially from the little movement there has been,it looks like they just skipped the remaining June/July applicants..

I just saw the same post. They're ECAS status changed to in process just a week ago. Mine changed a little over 3 weeks ago! ???
I did an inquiry last week and was told that my checks had been completed and passed and that my "review date" was the 26th. Not too sure what they meant by review date but it sounds good?! But I have yet to see any updates. Still trying to be patient. ;D

Well I just got an email from Ottawa explaining that they received my email back in February but they can't receive any attachments larger than 5MB so I need to 're-size' my attachment - not that it says that anywhere on the email they sent me originally. I still don't know if they received it by mail as Canada Post didnt get it signed for so we have had to resort to my in-laws MP to make enquiries as to whether CIC have received the info by mail.

WHOA, they just got back to you about the file size from your email in Feb? I would be furious! We sent an email with additional proof of intent on the 16th and within hours we were emailed informing us we need to condense all the files into 1 PDF and less than 5 MB... :-\

Ok now I'm totally raging we sent it on 19th feb and that was them just getting back to us today. I can only hope they got the hard copy in the mail. My in laws have an appointment with their MP on our behalf on Wednesday so hopefully we can get some clarity by the end of the week. Mind you given its Easter coming up ottawa might shut down for another 3 months!

I was looking for the outland forum, so I am in the right thread. Sorry, it's 1 am in France, I am litlle bit tired lol I don't know even what I read ???

I also checked my Ecas and doesn't change. Is always on "application received on december".

As I've noticed, the processing time was about 6 months until December 2014, then it started slowing down a lot...

No worries, I can barely function after 10pm You're on the right thread.

My husbands status hasn't changed beyond application received and medicals received. We're all in limbo... waiting and waiting. I should start a FB group for the Ottawa people who are in limbo. We could then vent together without clogging up the forum :-\
