On my way to the airport to land in Vancouver

Question for you knowledgeable people - my eCAS says they started processing my application on the 13th... anybody have any insight on how long it takes to process until it reaches DM? I know each case is different but ill take all the words of wisdom I can get! Thanks :D

For my wife, eCAS says they started processing on July 29th. The COPR paper says it was issued on August 2nd. I had eCAS update to DM on August 14th and COPR arrived in the mail on August 15th.

I'm looking at an image of my wife's COPR.

Under "APPLICATION DETAILS", I see the following:
Issued at: CPP OTTAWA
Issued date: 2013/08/02
Valid to: 2014/02/12

I assume the "Valid to" date means that the COPR expires by that date (she must land before that date). Is that correct?

Thanks
ki

Yep that's right! :)

thanks! Found out that she won't be able to land soon because of a bunch of family stuff she need to take care of, in addition to running a bunch of errands (probably gonna sell car, selling stuff she is not going to bring up, etc). She will probably land in October and we wanted to make sure that was ok (which is funny because we were so anxious to get COPR ASAP then turns out she is not going to land ASAP).

On my wife's COPR, I noticed under APPLICATION DETAILS, that there are two entries under "Conditions". The first I expect, the condition that we must remain married for 2 years after she becomes PR. The second is actually a question asking if she has ever been charged/convicted of a crime/offense, refused entry or required to leave Canada. It is blank below that (the answer is "no" for my wife on all counts). I'm not sure what that is there? Is that just a standard thing on everyone's COPR?

Thanks in advance

I have no conditions on mine but do have the question about being charged blah blah

Please do COPR always come in the mail?

Yes they always do if I'm not mistaken

The answer's yes for family class sponsorship (unless you included a prepaid courier envelope with your application).

But I just noticed that you are QSW - it could be different for QSW (it probably isn't, but it's possible).

Actually I have a question. I landed in mid May and STILL haven't received my pr card. Are things taking a while right now?
