Finally! At long last. :) Congratulations to you and all the best for the future.

Okay, I am seeing all these updated status' that ecas is showing to everyone but in mine it still shows under Applicant it says:

We received XXXXXXX XXXXXXX's application for permanent residence on February 21, 2013. Should I have an update in ecas yet or not? I sent paperwork over a month ago and while tracking shows it was delivered, ecas has yet to update that they received my medicals or anything else. We got SA on March 15th, that's almost 2 months now. Should I be worried? And should I email them?

Thanks!! :)

E cas is crazy anyway but as far as the wait, it's getting close to being a bit too much. But then I think two months has been around the top on how long slower cases go.

My e cas tracker decided to work for me just now. This morning I woke up to an email saying my e CSS has been updated. It says now when, where I landed and that I became a permanent resident. Then e case tracker got deactivated. Annoying because I thought I had deactivated it a while ago.

So should i go ahead And contact them and if so what do I ask about?

Woah, I got a reply almost right away, and they thankfully recieved the updated FBI check

Inspired by the quick reply to your query, we've sent another query (this time from my wife's email address rather than from mine - who knows whether that will make a difference?). It's been 8 weeks since they (hopefully) received my family's passport copies, other docs and photos, so they need to get off their butts and issue the COPRs already.

SUPER DUPER CONGRATS to you Moochops!!!! I see we filed around the same time so maybe there's hope for us, too. I'm hopeful I'll be receiving a PPR soon :)
ALL THE BEST TO YOU!!

I wish I could get a quick reply! My attorney emailed them 4 weeks ago and hasn't gotten a reply yet. We sent in the receipt for the paid RPRF on February 20th and have heard NOTHING since...

This is normal.

MOST of your waiting time is about waiting for the officer to open and read your file. When the officer does that, e-CAS will update to "In Process" several days later. If your file is complete and everything is present, they actually can issue the PPR the same day the visa officer looks at it for the first time.

Probably the same for me too. I'm trying to verify they got my new forms. :/

They're going to end up with another copy. I'm sending in our new lease so might as well send new forms. By courier. Bye bye money :(

Thanks!! That makes me feel a lot better. My concern is in that I sent an ALMOST complete application, my concern is because I sent my son's and my medicals with the main packet. Then, at the beginning of April, I submitted our Marriage certificate and my unaccompanying daughter's Medicals that were done separately from mine and my son's. To confuse the matter even more, my son and I did the medicals January 31 and they were still using the old paper system, when I took my daughter on April 1 her medicals were done electronically. So the results are coming from 2 different sources. I guess I am just worrying for no reason but I was hoping to see some sort of status in ecas.

Also, I had contacted CPP-O about 3 weeks ago to let them know that my address is changing here in the US. I did get an almost instant confirmation from them and they didn't act like my file was missing or anything. This waiting game is going to drive me insane!! lol
