Soooo.... the average number of days from sponsorship to passport requested is showing to be 829 days (!), though no one has taken that long. I'm assuming there's an oversight there? I'm looking at day 115 today and hopping up and down, knowing that I'm in "the queue" now and will hopefully hear something in the foreseeable future!

Moidyn's entry was missing the sponsorship approval date, so date of PPR was showing up as a number (4192013), which skewed the average - by a lot!

I figured something was amiss!! Thanks for keeping all of us updated so well. ;)

Hey, can anyone tell me if they've noticed a difference in processing times for people with children? I've heard it takes longer, less time, and the same. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hey, I keep missing you, but any chance you can add me in to the spreadsheet. My application is processed in CPP-O. Here's my timeline:

Application sent Nov 2011
Application received Nov 2011
Decision made/app transferred January 2012
Meds done Oct 2011

Nothing more at the moment.
Thanks!!!

Do you have the dates? I'll add you the best I can for now.

By chance, do you have a Legacy office? I ask because your file is taking so long and your avatar is usually used by people going through Islamabad.

Not sure you want a sponsor with a recent arrest record!

I almost said "I already have that!" then I saw recent. LOL!

I won't go into great detail, but he was flying it around my head while I was TRYING to type and ended up crashing into my face and nipping a sensitive part of my body... grrr.

I know that it was approved on Jan 24.

Also, my MP said it was in CPP-O because CPP-O is taking some load from Islamabad so there are a handful of files that are routed to CPP-O instead. I'm not sure I know what you mean by Legacy office though.

Thanks a bunch!

That is what I was wondering. You're by far not the only applicant this has happened to. I added Islamabad as your Legacy VO. That way, when someone views the spreadsheet and see your case has been active since 2011, they can also see you're being processed on the Islamabad schedule. (Sorry!)

Awesome thanks amikety!

I was told that people with children are given priority, especially if it is outland.
We have a daughter and I applied outland. All I can say is from my perspective as well as a friend of mine who applied from Europe.
Our sponsorship went really fast and our PPR was about 4 and something months.

Getting depressed looking at the spreadsheet and seeing all the people that landed already that applied later than me! :(

Thanks, Libellula, for the info. My daughter is older and has aged out now, so our fingers are crossed that we are approved, since she couldn't reapply. 115 days today since sponsorship approval, getting close, I hope!

After being in the dark for two months, CPP-Ottawa responded to my husband's email and his COPR is in the mail as of yesterday!! Now fingers crossed that it arrives quickly.
