Note that ATIP requests do create an entry in the GCMS record, so the officer will be aware you have requested the information.IslandAnnie said:Exactly! It is all electronic, especially now with the online ordering... it won't slow anything down. The officer working on your file will not even be aware that that you have requested the information.
LOL. He gives bad advice and then tries to convince you it wasn't bad advice.lalune117 said:So my attorney is trying to convince me that not paying my RPRF upfront did not set us back at all. Grr![]()

Haha, we thought the same thing this Fall when it came time to renew my status yet again. We had meant to file for PR right away... but life happens. Now I'm just hoping to finish school before I land!moochops said:Yes you bet - I've been living with my Albertan hubby for nearly 4.5 years (thats a loooooooot of visitor visa renewals lol)every one after the first got me thinking "they're gonna say no they're gonna say no" but they didn't and stressful as its been I'm not in half as bad a position as those who are apart from their spouses.
How annoying that they won't tell you what that decision is, surely it's not that difficult to say "It's positive and you'll be recieving your ppr shortly" much like they did with mine :![]()
