Sure, go ahead and out me down!

I've added you - if you've got info for any of the other columns, I'll be happy to include them.

I called CIC I was told they had my email wrong. They said AOR was sent April 15 and now I have stage 1 SA today. Amikety or whoever is handling the ss info, please update the spreadsheet. Thanks.

Updated, congrats!

I'm cranky, so I just ordered the GCMS notes for my wife's file. I didn't really want to, on the theory that ordering notes generally slows things down for everyone, but since CIC couldn't be bothered to respond to my email query, and more than 6 weeks have passed since they received my family's passport copies/photos/proof that I intend to move to Canada with no sign of any change in ECAS, they'll have to devote their time to sending me the notes...

Harrumph.

Ordering GCMS notes should never slow down the process. It's just an electronic file unless you requested Paper format which will slow down the process.

Exactly! It is all electronic, especially now with the online ordering... it won't slow anything down. The officer working on your file will not even be aware that that you have requested the information.

I requested our notes tonight as well :D

CoPR arrived today! Landing on May 30th. Hurray!

Hi all, I just checked the status of our application online and it says that our application is in process this week!!! with Ottawa!!!

I'm so beyond excited, but I'm wondering - does anybody know how long it takes to process the application once processing begins?

It says the office received our application back in November and Medical has been received.

Thanks :)

Check out the Ottawa spreadsheet, you will get an average time.

Congrats!!

Sorry... I forgot to post the link to it ???

So my attorney is trying to convince me that not paying my RPRF upfront did not set us back at all. Grr >:(

If your application is straight forward, the "processing" bit is just checking that the background checks came back clean, medical passed, your sponsor has enough money, etc. It's literally hours, not days of work. If something is amiss, then "processing" is weeks and months of correspondence and waiting for them to get to your file again after new information is received.
