No I didn't read it well enough it gives the whole thing about if it's a Visa exempt country you only need to send in photocopies along with the two photos and copy of the letter and such. I just didn't read it well enough because of the excitement and tears haha.

Also I know this probably isn't the real forum for this too. But with me moving up there very very soon.. My wife wants to go to Atlantis in the Bahamas later this year. Would I also go about a re-entry visa and all that to go down as well? Or is just having the PR card fine?

PR card should be it - that essentially IS your visa. Plus your passport, obviously, to go to the Bahamas.

Sounds like a very nice plan your wife has!

I'm landed! Everything was super easy I literally just had to sign a paper and that's it haha Most of it consisted of us joking around with the guy and stuff. Overall a really good experience I definitely won't forget it. All I need to do now is visit the CBSA office to get my B4 stamped so I can get the rest of my stuff here.

Any news for anyone else?
Congrats! My application was received on Sept 7, but through Quebec. I am wondering whether my case through Quebec will be slower... I already have a job offer, can I apply for a working permit first when I cross the border? I don't want to quit my job at the States and find out they will not give a working permit... Thanks!

I honestly have no idea, sorry! Maybe one of the other members here can help you out more. I never applied for a work permit before.

Also anyone who got their PPR how does it read? I am still totally shocked mine went through so fast that I almost can't believe its real. Even E-Cs still just reads application Recv'd

Ever since you started the no passport copies request trend, I've been checking my mail daily!!! Lol
Before it used to be my email only, now it's email and mail. :-\
So happy for you though.

I now have a "Decision made" on eCas.....too bad no one can really rely on it. Still, it fills me with happiness (at least it better be happy when I get their decision)

Hang in there, folks!

Yeah all it says other than mailing it is that if I'm from a visa exempt country I don't need the actual passport but just the copy. The thing it still asks for is 2 passport size photographs with it as well. As I said im prolly getting worried over nothing but I'll be sending it all out this coming monday after i get my copies and photographs done

It also has a page that asks for height and eye colour..
