Thanks everyone! It was sent by regular mail. And actually I got it 5 days after seeing DM, but 6 days after they mailed it. (Call centre said it was mailed on Friday the 25th, but ECAS showed DM Saturday the 26th.)

Thanks! I was so excited that I tore it open and ripped the COPR a little... oops xD Can't wait to land on Monday. I'll be going to a Service Ontario right after to get a SIN.

I heard sometimes there are SIN kiosks right at the airports where you land, make sure you ask.

Too bad they send such important documents by regular mail... I often end up finding other people's mail in my mailbox.
For all the stress and money spent you would think they could afford a $10 courier charge with a signature requirement....thanks cic.... :'( :'(

I'm already in Canada, I'll be driving to a border.

Yeah I was nervous it would get lost or make it to the wrong apartment but it made it safe and sound!

Her old manager in Canada has guaranteed her job back so interms of letting CIC know about this, she said she will write a letter BUT does she address this directly to CIC and tell them that my girlfriend has a job offer with her or writes a regular job offer to my girlfriend and we submit that as evidence??

Any help would be grateful, would like to email everything off today.

Does it look like Ottawa is working on apps received in March?

Our file was transferred to Ottawa on April 29 after SA approval on April 28, ecas still just showing

1. Application received for permanent residency April 8
2. Medical Results have been received

Pretty sure either would be fine.

If one is as easy as the other I'd go with addressing it to CIC, and then if CIC want they could always contact the manager directly with any follow-ups (though this is pretty unlikely)
