Wow congrats Exiled Canadian!ExiledCanadian said:Decision Made!
I wasn't expecting to see that when I checked our status today.
Same here! I wanted to see if it had changed to 'in process', or any movement at all...didn't expect to see Decision Made! Now, hopefully that means the COPR's are in the mail!ExiledCanadian said:Decision Made!

Congrats to everyone who has received PPR/COPR recently!!GeorgeJoseph said:Washingtongirl, Is there any updated in your online status ?
All/ Seniors - There have been several people who got their PPR during the months of Oct/ Nov/ Dec 2013 and still waiting for the COPR. But, I could see that the Feb PPR cases have got the "Decision Made" quickly. Do you see any specific patterns with this ?
I am tired.
bye !
All such applications are sent to CPP-O (Ottawa). For cases that require non-routine processing (interviews, ARCs, TRPs, etc.) they are forwarded to either NYC or LA. CPP-O may choose to forward normal applications as well, but historically has not done so.aries9811 said:Can someone explain the PR process for Spouse in USA.
I want to know where the Application needs to be sent out initially?
Then, the Do we need to mention VO for passport such as LA or New York ourseleves ? or CIC decides and let us know about it ?
How much time does it usually takes for Spouse PR to arrive.
I have no idea either as to why the PPR's late last year are getting hung up DH did get a PPR, it just seemed to move quickly after that. Mind you, we don't have COPR in hand yet - so, it could be 'DM' for awhile and the COPR will show up in a few months. No idea, really!Cbshk48 said:Congrats to everyone who has received PPR/COPR recently!!
I am wondering the same thing as GeorgeJoseph. It seems like the PPR cases from the end of last year are hung up in the que somewhere and later applicants are bypassing PPR altogether. Does anyone have any insight on this? Are they just trying to speed up the process now to catch up on backlog, or did they get rid of the PPR process entirely?
Thanks all!
You guys are August applicants. If they are speeding up, they should start with June Applicants like me first! hehe... No updates yet since the medical results have been received since last December.PhBee said:I have no idea either as to why the PPR's late last year are getting hung up DH did get a PPR, it just seemed to move quickly after that. I have a theory. I'm guessing that there are occasionally reviews of the various visa offices against the metrics they collect, so for example, how long is it taking to process 50% of your applications. If there is a review coming up and someone wants to make that number look better, processing a bunch of August applicants quickly makes the time to process 50% come down nice and quickly. It's only a guess, of course, but any time you judge people against metrics, you encourage behaviors that make those metrics look better. So yay for the August applicants, and less fun for those of us in the slow-boat line...PhBee said:I have no idea either as to why the PPR's late last year are getting hung up DH did get a PPR, it just seemed to move quickly after that.
