Landed last night at the Peace Arch ;D so surreal! The process was very easy and took about 20 minutes. We lucked out with a friendly officer who congratulated me at the end.

Thank you to everyone for all your support and advice, I could not have done it without you.

Best of luck to all of you on the rest of your journey. Although it may not seem like it now, the day WILL come :)
CONGRATS ALLY06!!!!!! So glad to have another successful landing story. Best of luck in your new life. :)

UPDATE THAT SPREADSHEET OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We received your application for permanent residence on January 4, 2013.

We started processing your application on September 3, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
I had emailed them as you saw on the last page of this thread and got generic crappy response but on that same day apparently they started processing that day!! Is this a good sign or bad? Do they put Decision made and all that for negative outcomes?

I've gotten no email where it says anything about PPR or whatever (I did send that copy of passport when I sent the updated XRay so maybe that's why) -- it doesn't say anything about interview being waived or not either.

Is this going to be one of those cases I just get COPR in the mail... or do I have a lot more waiting ahead? Anyone have any idea about this stuff?

Also I'm supposed to head down to SC in November and that's when I intended to prepare a B4 since I can't remember all the goods I own obviously. However, if I get the COPR soon instead of November 3rd (we're going down in mid November - December 3rd) and have to land within 30 days I won't have my B4 filled out. Anyone have any suggestions? I know it's hypothetical since I have no news and don't even know if it's a GOOD decision made yet.

We're exactly one month from my birthday, it'd be pretty awesome to be deemed a Canadian Permanent Resident on or for my 30th birthday, haha.

But thank GOD there is finally some movement. This has been almost 2 years in the waiting.

Have to say it kinda sucks I ordered my file notes a month ago (in 2 days will be a month) now :p

Good morning everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I have a question for anyone who might know the answer.

I received my GCMS notes yesterday via email and I am having trouble understanding some of it. Mainly, it says my primary office is CPP-O but it has Los Angeles listed as a secondary office. Is there a reason or this?
Code:
Also, I saw a note in the file that said this: CSCD not entered as missing biodata on the back of at least one photo and IMM1017 for NAD to be provided later as it indicates on file. What does this mean?? I just got my passport request last week and no other information was requested. Is this something that may cause a holdup later? Just getting paranoid now. lol

So, I brought lists of everything I plan to import later, separated into categories (Jewelry, Household Items, Books, etc) and had each of those category lists on separate excel spreadsheets (with totals at the bottom). I also filled out the B4 form with each of those category names & totals listed on the B4 (there were 8 columns but I only had about 5). Does that make sense? If you plan to bring jewelry, make sure you take pictures of them and bring those along.

The officer was pleased I did this - I got the feeling that no one really takes time to make lists! The whole process was pretty casual. The officer took my list so make sure you make two copies to keep one for your records. She then wrote my name an the total $ on a lined sheet of paper (they are tech savvy at the Peace Arch!) and had me sign it.

Let me know if this makes sense! :)

Reading my notes it says...
(from 30 days ago)

So... does this mean they sent my PPR? I mean, the date they wrote that on my notes was July 4th, and I was sent the medical request form on July 23rd... I sent my passport via IvanP's suggestion on the 25th with a note about to avoid further delay with my xray so... is this why I haven't seen a PPR? Does this above mean that the Decision Made is GOOD??

OK party people... just submitted my passport and supporting docs via email. Only lost a week from the "didn't see the email" debacle. :-[
Lets hope they get the warm fuzzies about my common law relationship. (they wanted more proof of cohabitation)
I listed my mailing address as Canada so I'm hoping the ship to time will be less than going to the US and that I might see COPR in a month or so. :)
I need all the help I can get cause I'm racing Buffy2323 to COPR...

Well here's hoping we BOTH get COPR quickly. I did see yesterday that my ecas was updated briefly, it now says meds received. I am waiting not, not so patiently, for it to say in process or, even better, decision made!!!! :p

I'm up for that!
No change in my ecas. I submitted meds with my original app so mine has always said meds received. I think we won't go in process until they get our passports and go back to working on our files.
