As of October 22, the processing times for applications from within Canada are:

Online: 14 days.
Paper application: 16 days.
(As per CIC website)

Any feedback as to how long it has taken you to get your TRV approved if you applied in October?

To give you a reference, I sent my documents (paper version) on Sep.17th, and it's been received on Sep. 19th. I have a valid work permit and I am applying for the TRV. Even though the website says the processing time is around 16 working days, I still haven't got any update so far. Have no idea what happened.

Just got it today. So it's around 4 weeks for the processing. Good luck.

I sent my application on about first week of November and still waiting for response. CIC emailed me they dont have any definite date when application will be finalized but they said it's on process according to standard procedure. Does any one know according to standard procedure how much maximum they can take to give decision. They also replied if I want my passport back they can return it. So then Ill lose my 75$. , what kind of joke is that?
