Hi there, I'm glad to find this thread, as I applied as FSW class, NOC 3111, on the 4 th of November to the CIO, and received PER on the 19th of January, then on the 20th of February my file was transferred to otto pilot case processing office, it was supposed to be transferred to Cairo visa office

Is that a good or bad step?

CPP-O has been normally faster than local consulate office, so it's a good step!

Timeline is quiet similar to mine, at most 3 months from now for PPR (assuming that your background check clears)

Darn they have transferred my file from Ottawa to buffalo and then a month later from buffalo to Detroit. I don't know what's going on. Any suggestions guys....? Ethel?
My medical was done in Nov and results were received on 16th Dec.

if i am not wrong...transferred to buffalo from ottawa after medicals and other verification...and should have been sent with ready for PPR or RPRF...buffalo would have moved it to detroit for completing the file with RPRF and PPR request...you are nearing the PPR...within a month you should be done...good luck

Thanks for such a positive reply. I am worried cause Ottawa told me I will get a response from buffalo within a few weeks regarding finalization of my application, but a month later when I contacted buffalo they told me that they have transferred it to Detroit. This concerns me, I have already paid the RPRF.

can u tell me the dates when ur file got transferred from Ottawa to buffalo and buffalo to Detroit. in which ontario pnp class u r in. on what email address u contacted buffalo.

thats for finalization...detroit will contact you further for issuing PPR...hold on ur nearing

My file got transferred to LA on 13th Jan and till date no movement. Moreover, they mentioned not to contact them before 90 days.... :-(

I hate to speculate. If I were you, I would order my CAIPS/GMCS note to see where the hold up is.

Maybe not now, but wait for few more weeks or even a month then if you haven't heard anything that's what I would do.

People in this forum can speculate and give you positive encouragement but the only way for you to find out is to order these notes.

hi sherine ,I'm exactly the same case but I'm with the provincial nominee
also transferred to cpp -op.
Did u contact them?

@mustang: not sure about the exact dates, cpp ottawa told me that buffalo will contact me shortly. that was start of feb. then I contacted buffalo a few days ago and they gave me this shocking news that my file is in detroit I emailed detroit but they never reply.

Feb 9, 2012 Got email along with FN and ME from CPP-Ottawa (Processing Time: It says it requires average 10 months to process at this office.)
Feb 20, 2012 ME done
Feb 22, 2012 ME sent to Ottawa (I checked the track#, and found it's not arrived yet.)
Waiting...

BTW, anyone knows the real processing time afterwards?

ECAS updated - ME received on March 11.
