Happy new year and congratulation to all of you who have recently got the PPR. I am bit confused about the File number and the Application number. You might have notice on your PPR, they ask us to right down Application number on the back of the RPRF money order and File Number on top of the Passport envelope. Is the same Application number which starts with Exxxxxxxx? Am I missing another number?

Application number is the one with EXXXXXXXX

I think Application and File number are interchangeable term... I wouldn't be too concerned. If you're concerned then you can always put down the other numbers which are UCI or Paper File Number (BXXXXXX)

Regardless of what you heard about address disappearing or not ... I don't think you can infer anything from it. My address never disappeared at all and it seems to be processed quiet fast as well.

My address is back again. I can't comment on how they do things - but it is what it is. Maybe they were working on a handful of applications and sent PPRs to a few.

hi guys any news . I guess nobody has received ppr after many people got ppr request on the 4 jan 2012 from CPPO.
