Hi there,

I am asking for your help as the situation regarding my application for a PR through the Express Entry program is weird ...

To let you know, I and my partner are currently living in Paris in France.

I received on the 2017/10/12 an email from CPCO-FinalRequest (CIC) inviting me and my partner to present our passports to the Visa Application Center (VAC) of Paris located at 82 rue d'Hauteville, 75015 Paris, France. In this email it is mentioned that we have a period of 30 days to reply otherwise our application will be closed.

We visited the Visa Application Center (VAC) in Paris the same day and the immigration officer told us to send an email to the Canadian Embassy in Paris (paris-immigration@international.gc.ca) by attaching our 2 French passports. As both of us had a French passport, the officer explained that we do not need a visa (label to be pasted on the passport) to go to Canada and that the process is performed online. I sent the e-mail with a proof of reading.

Since 2017/10/12 no notification from the Canadian Embassy in Paris and nothing has changed on my online profile (IRCC Website).

I wrote another message to the Canadian Embassy via the IRCC Webform. It is displayed that a reply can be given within 28 days...

There is no other way to contact directly a person working at the Canadian Embassy in Paris : only online via emails ...

Has anyone already experienced this situation? Could you please give me advices as I am quite nervous about the 30 days period?

Thank you in advance for your support :) !

Thank you for your reply !
Yes there is. All my personal documents are uploaded and my profil is completed and under review.

At the moment, I have the feeling that my profile is linked to the Canadian Embassy in Paris. And I don't feel they are really responsive (here their website : http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/france/index.aspx?lang=eng).

Anyone having lived in France and now with a PR in Canada has experienced this situation ?

Thank you in advance !
