CPCO Final Request - No longer residing in country of VO

Hello,

I was hoping someone could shed some light on my current problem.
My common Law is an Italian citizen and Australian PR.
I the sponsor am a Canadian/Australian Citizen.
We applied from Australia, However we have since moved to Italy temporarily before we arrive in Canada.
Our VO was ottawa and we have just had DM and our passport request email.
The email states at the beginning
"Please use this letter if you and/or your dependents are currently residing in Australia." and further goes on to give instructions to mail documents etc to the Sydney (AUS) VO.
There is also a brief area in the letter that says if we reside in Canada to send documents to Ottawa, and use a Canada Post express envelope etc.
However we don't reside in Canada right now either or have access to Canada post we are unable to send docs to Ottawa.
(As my originally thought was just to send everything to Ottawa)

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do. I thought I would ask you great people if you have any idea's of been through similar situations.

I have just been on the phone with the call centre and they advised me to write a cover letter explaining my address never updated in the system and to still send my documents to Sydney Aus, and they will be able to return my COPR to my address in Italy.

i'd recommend confirming that with the Syndey Aus visa office first. Some countries have rules for sending passports internationally. The call center is notorious for giving out bad information.
