CPCO Email - existing Visitor visa

Hi guys,

I've received CPCO Email from Canada Embassy today. In the instruction it stated that I might have to send out my passport for visa counterfoil.
However, I already have an existing V1 Visitor Visa which is still valid till Jan 2020 (multiple entry).
So now, I'm kinda confused if I still need to send my passport for another visa or is my existing visa enough for landing? Anyone ever had the same case as me?

You will still need an immigrant visa stamped on your passport for landing. You can not do your landing using a visitor visa.
