I'm not sure how it happened, but after our sponsor/PR application was signed into CPC-V, they lost it in its entirety - well, almost. They still managed to find and process the OWP application, which was refused. they just can't seem to find it anywhere, although they've already "cashed" the receipts (those are on file, sure enough). We've called CIC twice, and were told the following:
1. We should send copies of everything we've already sent with a letter of expanation; all will be well
2. We are completely S.O.L. and it is unlikely that my fiancee's status will be restored now
Now, we did -everything- right (thanks, in large part, to the kind assistance of the people here on this forum!), and they screwed up... there is "no record" of our application.
Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem, and what you did to get them to look for/find your stuff? How long did it take? Thank you and good luck to everyone...
