I was talking about those who got DM in feb/March. I know you have also been waiting since a long time. I wish they start processing files on the basis of timeline. Some people have waited for 2 years for PR and some get their visa in 7 months. IRCC needs to update their system. Did you get DM?

Would it be useful to engage an immigration counsultant or lawyer to follow up with IRCC ? or make no difference at this final stages?
I am not an expert but I don’t think it would make any difference. This is my personal opinion . I am sure people like @armoured and @Canada2020eh can tell more about it.
I agree, there is nothing that a lawyer/consultant can do that you can't do yourself and that isn't very much. Call IRCC, your MP, send a webform. The weather has been very nice here in Ottawa, maybe they are all at the beach.
Minor update...we saw on GC Key that the PA's application / profile was updated. We were very excited and hoped it was a decision made. But it just said '"July 16, 2021 - You passed the medical exam." We submitted the medical and it was approved back in October 2019. It was extended for another year back in March 2021.
Not the DM...but happy that at least something is happening with the file. We also reached out to the MP and they responded to us on July 15th. Could be a coincidence that the next day there was an update

I received the passport request on 19th march but due to lockdown my passport was returned unstamped.
