You will have to give Capstone 1 + Capstone 2 + CFE exam to get CPA.

I am a Fellow Cost and Management Accountant form ICMAP, having 9 years of post qualification experience.

What is the procedure to enroll at CPA Alberta after Feb 2015.

Specially share Exemptions available, I email to CPA Alberta but following was the reply:

Hi,

I did review your attachment and I understand that you hold a Cost Management Accountant Designation from Pakistan. As you requested me to guide to become a CPA in Canada, I advised you the first step, that is, to request us formally to assess your credentials. We will not be able to provide you exemptions in email. I can say that you may be given exemptions but I will be able to say what those exemptions are only after a formal assessment. International Designate entrance path requires a comprehensive assessment considering several aspects of your credentials. So, please follow the instructions in my previous email and we will contact you with more information.

Looking forward to receiving your CPA online assessment request.

Regards,

Please guide me.

I am a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal with 5 years experience post qualification. I am also communicating with CPA Saskatchewan. I have already made attested documents that I am going to send to them this week for formal assessment. Probably they will ask us to do Capstone 1 and 2 and then CFE. We should be prepared for that.

I hope ths thread is not dead yet...has anyone tried to have their transcripts assessed through cpa-ontario? Thanks.

Dear Friends,

What are capstone modules and how are they assessed? Is it mandatory to clear both capstone modules to sit in CFE exam? What are the contents of CFE exam?
Anyone, please help on this.

Hi Abdul,

If you are an ACCA, you are not required to give any formal paper for CPA. All you need to do is to contact CPA-CGA they will ask for some documents including
- CV
- Letter of good standing from ACCA
- A copy of Membership certificate
- Online completion of Overview of Canadian Law and Tax through PDnet

Upon completion of all above, you will be required to fill and sign CPA form and courier two notarized IDs. Last step is payment of fee and you are member of CPA.

This entire process could take 1 month to complete.

Best of Luck!
