Cover study gap-Verification!!!

Hi all.. I would like to hear from someone more experienced how VO can verify our previous employment... my problem is that i have a gap of 2-3 years after high school, and i was thinking to add a job related to my studies at a friend's business, to cover a bit this gap... How is VO going to verify it? By phone probably? Any help in this will be appreciated!!!

Hi,

Make sure everything is verifiable in case if embassy people decide to cross check it..keep employment supporting documents ready with you like pay slips etc...

note that i m not experienced nor i did such tricks any more on this matter but just writing my view.further more i do not suggest you to go ahead if you do not feel confident with it........because pakada gaya to lalam laal ho jayegi..

I would like to avoid such complicated and tricky things but can't see so far any other way...

If there is some check from the embassy, what kind of check take place?
Just a telephone to the employer?
Or they may ask more paperwork?

I would also say that its better avoid filin the gap... Just incase if you want to project the experience so badly... May be add a point in the SOP that you were at your friends business...Where you were given these responsibility...did it like an intern and got stipend.... Experience can in any form... Even if its your own business...

P.S. Dont think the embassy just cross verify by phone... They have every right, even go thru ur taxes and IT returns to ensure thru which company you were taxed... or the same applies to the company's Books... "They should have your records back dated"..

My dear, I just suggest you DO NOT provide any fake document in any kind of circumstances! Do not mess with your life. The simplest way always is to tell the truth instead of other tricky ways! If they see how honest you are, and you are qualified; for sure visa will be issued.
