Cover letter - appropriate words

Hi all,

I have only one family member, my father. Don't have any siblings. So if I get TRV, my father would be alone for couple of weeks.

I was suggested by an agent that I should put "while I am away, maids will be taking care of my father" in cover letter since my father would be alone for a while.

Do you think putting "maids" word is okay in cover letter? I mean I don't want to sound rude or inappropriate to CIC. Just wondering that using such a word can hurt my cover letter or not.

Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks for your time in advance.

Hi,

Perhaps, you could say that you will have a close relative to stay with your dad - temporarily - while you are visiting Canada. In addition to this, your dad has close friends and neighbors who live nearby who will check on him every day
