course mismatch issue

i have done btech in information technology(IT) and i got an offer letter for masters in computer science from concordia university . Can i be denied study visa on the basis of course mismatch ? . Information tech and computer science share many common subjects.

I don't think so, IT and Cs is a match a lot... I have done BS Botany and i am going for master of environmental studies... I am in same situation too but i am not worried about that..

What was ur percentage?
and in how many days u got acceptance?

yes i paid 100 cad with online application . my % is 75% and it took around 2 months for them to give out the offer letter.

What do you think about a doctor studying MBA program in Canada? You should know there is nothing called 'course mismatch' with processing. Its always been a 'poor academics' Vs. 'one admission by hook or crook'.

Students with 10 backlogs are getting study visa . I know many below average students who got admitted to Carleton and received study visa too . I wonder if visa officers are serious about the jobs.
