Course failure

Hello everyone,

I want to ask regarding course failure.
I took 2yr course which is of 4sem n i cleared first 2sem's clearly but the issue arise in 3rd sem n i failed in one course. For that clearance i need to wait till 6 months for September to restart 3rd sem sem my study permit is expiring in may so i need to renew it. So, my question here is that:

Is it creates any issue in renewing my study permit/ get work permit ?

Let me know guyz i am so stressed !

You should be able to renew your study permit to complete your studies. However your post graduate work permit will most likely be refused due to the break in your studies.

I haven't took any break but the thing is the subject in which i failed is the only one time a year course which only taught in September's i.e. 3rd sem.

Any break that is unscheduled such as failing a course which only could be taught in the next semester can result in PGWP refusals. CIC wants to see continuous studies with no unscheduled breaks.

Also note that until you resume your full-time studies, you are not allowed to work.
