So she's still physically in El Salvador? If approved they will request her passport from Australia and you'll need to request a change.

They will still evaluate her as an El Salvador citizen and their residency in a third country will not help, unless she's also an Australian citizen.

Yes she's still in El Salvador... but wouldn't make sense to request her passport in Australia if the application is being filed in El Salvador I think. The form itself asks where the application is being filed if different from country of residency so I don't think they will request her passport from Australia or to be sent to Australian visa office. The confusion here is that she's a temporary resident in Australia, with current valid papers but she's filling TRV application from her country of citizenship El Salvador where she has not been living for the past 5 years. She's there only temporarily and basically just waiting on resolution of this visa request.

Yeah, all that's true. The change you made in her country of residency is not necessarily going to help your application. I hope it's successful but being a temporary resident in a third country does not make an application stronger.

Yeah that's true, but we really did that trying to address the reasons of the first refusal which where job prospects, job situation and financial situation. There was not enough proof provided the first time on her Australian job, financial status and studies and placements which directly relates to her job prospects in Australia.

Certainly hope it comes to a good outcome and if they refuse hopefully they will not come up with a misrepresentation bullshit cause I'd have to choose between her and Canada.

It's hard to be in this position after all the trouble I went through to be PR!

I believe I've given a wrong impression here. In IMM 1294e Question no. 7 asks 'current country or territory of residence' and Question no. 9 asks 'Country or territory where applying: Same as country or territory of residence'. I am definitely going to answer question 7 truthfully but my question is even though I am not physically present in the country of which I am a citizen, can I put my home country in Question 9?

I am well aware that misrepresentation is not tolerated and would lead to a ban, therefore, I created this thread in order to avoid giving wrong information.

Well, that does create a few problems for me one of them is not able to meet the deadline of the institute. Instead of going home is it possible my brother could submit my application online?I could authorize him by 'use of representative form'. Also, what would the country or territory of residence and country or territory where applying then?
