Don't worry, just found out the people responsible for counting and updating the CAP are on a Caribbean cruise, will be back by next week. So we should see an update by Thursday :D
 
I am guessing the next update will be end of this month (6 weeks gap between updates perhaps?).
 
Most of you asking for updates have already got your AOR. So you guys are safe. Then why bother about the count?

Your question was something like: how can the statistics for CEC applications received in the year ending June 30, 2013, show that a certain number of cases were approved and refused, when some people from that cohort have not received their MR yet.

I believe the answer is: because those statistics show the applications processed in that year, not applications received in that year.

I would love to take a tour to CIO-Sydney and CPP-O to check out the way these guys work...sometimes I just wonder about what the heck really goes on there lol.

It's a new system. CIC staff will have to adapt to the new changes and so do we :)
Hang in there. They'll start updating the website on a regular basis eventually...
