Counting started for 12,000 cap

Actually its good to see this cap count, as I didnt know this earlier. I will be applying under noc B 5241 in the next few days. Since the only other thing I waiting to receive is the Indian PCC, do you guys think I can send the application without it ?. The reason is will they accept my package and send AOR without PCC, within the sub cap of 200. So that I can submit my PCC once I receive tagging the AOR file number.

Any thoughts on that or any experience sending like this separately ?.

Yes, you can submit the PCC later, after receiving the AOR.
 
@Iam_Toby, So sending the application without PCC will be still counted in and will reserve my application within the cap limit right ?

Absolutely! Attach a letter explaining that you will send the PCC later and you'll be fine.

Looks good. Submit PCCs as soon as you get the documents and you'll be fine. Remember to submit the original PCCs,
not scans via email.

I don't follow the CEC section of the forum very much, so I don't know what anyone has posted before regarding the CIC statistics but thought I'd share them just in case. The info can be found here http://data.gc.ca/data/dataset/427337d0-7c36-4fed-8428-c6a63f8c19b3

For the year 2012, there were 11 511 apps received, with 9453 approvals and 2058 refusals.

The most recent data set available covers the 1 year from July 1st, 2012 to Jun 30th, 2013. There were 9852 CEC apps submitted in that time. 7411 were approved and 2441 were refused.


That data doesn't give any breakdown on NOCs, sub caps, etc. but does indicate that the total cap of 12 000 may not even be reached.

Looking at the numbers in the data sets, I agree with byrwus, who guessed that the 48 showing right now covers only the first day or two. Average will probably be around 30 apps per day.

What do they meet approved? They have just started delivering MR to April 2013 applicants.

Not entirely sure, sorry. I was just repeating the info that the CIC statistics show. Maybe it means that 2441 apps were refused as ineligible, while the other 7411 apps were eligible to be processed.
 
The website said it's gonna update on weekly basis...

Last (first) update happened on last Monday at 11.00 which means that the next update was supposed to happen today...
I\ve been checking the website since morning and don't see any update yet.. it still says 48/12,000...

it's sad how CIC works....

The first update might've been on a Monday, but maybe that was just the first one and the rest will be done together
with TRV processing times on Thurdays. So we'll have to wait and see when the page is being updated.
It's a fairly new system and CIC also has to adapt to the changes.

Total 71 Applications from NOC B rest 92 Applications from NOC O and NOC A
