Counting days for Canadian Citizenship/ Permanent Resident Status

I have received my Canada visa to enter on my passport as well a document titled "Confirmation of Permanent Residence" after applying for Skilled labor.

What is the "date of start" for counting the days towards applying Canadian nationality or for completing 730 days.

Is it the date that got the Canadian Visa on my passport or when i receive my PR card ?
