Could not travel on Visitor Visa

Hi Experts,

I have got a visitor visa that is expiring on 30th July. It was a single entry visa from Feb 1 - July 30.

I could not travel to Canada because of personal issues. I want to apply a new visitor visa. I am in job and can show roots in India.

Please suggest ..

1. Shall I provide Letter of Explaination saying why I did not travel ?

2. Since I did not travel, is this an issue for the Visa Officer ?

Hi,

1. You can explain very briefly why you were unable to travel.... and why you are now applying for a new TRV

2. No, not traveling on a previous TRV is not an issue


As you were issued a single-entry TRV with a short validity of only 6 months, you must demonstrate your ties to India properly with evidence
