could I extend my PGWP

I studied for two years in Canada and I only got one year of PGWP, and on my permit it says "status maintained as PER R183(6).
Document issued to maximum available PGWP eligibility".

Unlike all my friends from classes, they got 3 years. What does that mean? Can I do something related to the topic, that is, could I extend this?

my passport is valid until November of this year and the work permit was given to me until April 2023

that could explain the reason. Basically they add extra month to keep you current while you renew your passport and apply for the extension. Once you renew your passport, send application to extend your pgwp. Thats best i can explain.
