Cost of Living in ottawa

Hi all,

I recently got admission into a masters program at the university of Ottawa and would like to know what the expected cost of living will be going by the experience of nay one currently studying at same university.

Also, any pre-arrival tips will be welcome as i am yet to really decide which of the sessions is most preferable to register into even if i would prefer january 2013.

Which program did you apply for? M.Eng or M.Sc.?

I got my offer letter last week too. It says on the letter that total costs are 37k CAD per annum (including tuition, living etc.).

COst of studying in canada is relatively cheaper than the bigger cities. it also depends where you live. Living off campus is prolly cheaper but you have to spend time travelling. check out studentimmigrationcanada dot com to see more info.
